Hello There!
My name is Ssekkaha, and I'm a furry from the good ol' United Kingdom (sorry). I'm new to the furry visual novel scene, and I am currently working on my first large project; Stanburn Abbey. There are more details below in my projects section.
About me!
(Why'd I feel the need to type this :( )
So, as I said, I'm a twenty-nine year old furry from the UK, with a interest in writing queer stories, a lot of which based around my own experiences in life. I lived in the closet for around twenty five years of my life, and a big reason for that was because I never felt seen. I'm a Non-binary person that's bisexual yet only romantically attracted to men. My whole life I felt different to everyone else, and thanks to a mix of religious guilt, bullying, my own mental health and some horror stories about trying coming out when I was in college, I never felt able to be myself. I'm hoping that in writing and sharing my experiences, that one person feels more comfortable with who they are, as well as just enjoying the craft of writing a narrative.
Less depressing! I've worked in Health and Social care for over a decade now and I absolutely love that line of work. Don't think I'd be the person I am without it. I've been active in the fandom from around 2023, but I've considered myself a furry since I was 13. Tried a bit of drawing, but I' happily in my niche in the writing section of the fandom.
I found out about the world of Furry Visual Novels thanks to Keith Ballard's recommendation of Adastra. Ever since I have been consuming as many as I can. I find the multimedia format that VN's provide a very effective way to tell a story. I want to push my own directing ability, just as much as my writing.

Stanburn Abbey
Stanburn Abbey is my first project. Always one to jump in at the deep end, Stanburn is a story set in the Viking Invasion of England. You take the role of Botræd of Stanburn, a young Wood Pigeon who is forced to join a Monastery during the last days of the Danelaw. Along the way You'll find out about the other Monks, the Vikings, and rub shoulders with some historical figures of the time, all through the eyes of a queer bird just trying to find his way through life as he becomes an adult
Currently Stanburn is in its first draft stages. I will upload the game when I have completed 50% of the writing, and have the art assets I need for that stage. Until then, I will post the occasional update for those interested.
